Still Standing

He didn’t fall when it hit him. He didn’t scream either. The arrow went straight through, right where he keeps his hope. It hurts, but he stays upright. Hands in his pockets, like nothing happened. Maybe that’s how he survives by letting the pain pass through instead of stopping inside.
