1. Nature of Service

Saucery is a community service, not a commercial enterprise. Our purpose is to connect SCBK (Saucebook) token holders with artists in a decentralized marketplace for NFT artworks. This platform is operated on a cost-recovery basis only, with fees calibrated to cover operational expenses including IPFS storage (Pinata) and hosting infrastructure (Manus subscriptions).

We do not seek profit. All fees collected are used exclusively to maintain and operate the service for the benefit of the SCBK community and participating artists.

2. Fee Structure

Platform fees are set at 2% of transaction value, payable in SCBK tokens. These fees cover:

• IPFS storage costs (Pinata service)
• Hosting and infrastructure (Manus platform)
• Blockchain transaction fees
• Ongoing maintenance and operational costs

The remaining 98% of each transaction goes directly to the artist. Fee structures may be adjusted periodically to maintain cost-recovery alignment, with advance notice provided to the community.

3. No Warranties

This service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Merchantability
• Non-infringement
• Continuous or error-free operation
• Accuracy or reliability of content
• Security of transactions or data

You acknowledge that blockchain transactions are irreversible and that you are solely responsible for verifying all transaction details before confirming payments.

4. Support & Enhancements

Support and platform enhancements are provided on a best-efforts basis by the creator, a one-person operation with other professional commitments. While we strive to maintain service quality and respond to issues promptly, we cannot guarantee:

• Immediate response times
• Resolution of all reported issues
• Implementation of requested features
• Continuous availability of support

Community feedback is valued and considered for future improvements, but feature requests and bug fixes will be prioritized based on available time and resources.

5. User Responsibilities

By using Saucery, you agree to:

• Maintain the security of your wallet and private keys
• Verify all transaction details before signing with your wallet
• Ensure you have sufficient SCBK balance for purchases and gas fees
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
• Respect intellectual property rights of artists and creators
• Not use the platform for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saucery and its creator shall not be liable for any:

• Loss of funds due to user error, wallet compromise, or blockchain issues
• Damages arising from service interruptions or downtime
• Losses resulting from smart contract vulnerabilities or exploits
• Disputes between buyers and sellers
• Changes in SCBK token value or market conditions
• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

You use this service entirely at your own risk.

7. Intellectual Property

Artists retain full ownership and copyright of their artworks. By minting NFTs on Saucery, artists grant collectors a non-exclusive license to display and trade the NFT, but do not transfer underlying copyright unless explicitly stated in the artwork description.

All NFT metadata is stored permanently on IPFS with update authority revoked, ensuring immutability.

8. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, with or without notice. While we aim to provide advance warning of significant changes, operational constraints may require immediate action in certain circumstances.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between users (buyers and sellers) should be resolved directly between the parties. Saucery acts solely as a technical platform and does not mediate disputes, process refunds, or reverse blockchain transactions.
